1. General Requirement & Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy ('AUP') governs all users, travelers, and developers accessing ConfirmRoute's website, applications, AI chat assistant, and remote MCP tools.
You agree to use ConfirmRoute strictly for lawful, ethical, and intended travel planning and software integration purposes.
2. Account & Credential Abuse
You must not create accounts using fraudulent identities, automate bulk account registration to circumvent free quotas, share or resell account credentials, or access unauthorized accounts.
3. API and MCP Tool Abuse
You must not attempt to bypass API burst or monthly rate limits, rotate leaked keys across multiple accounts, generate uncontrolled automated traffic loops, overload backend endpoints, or reverse engineer private internal APIs.
4. Security & Infrastructure Abuse
You must not launch denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, deploy malware or ransomware, conduct unauthorized vulnerability scans or penetration tests against ConfirmRoute infrastructure, or attempt credential stuffing.
5. Fraud, Phishing & Deceptive Conduct
You must not utilize ConfirmRoute to orchestrate financial scams, deceptive ticket booking schemes, phishing campaigns, identity impersonation, or credit card fraud.
6. Privacy & Scraping Violations
You must not use ConfirmRoute to unlawfully harvest, track, dox, or monitor personal information of railway passengers or individual travelers.
7. Railway Travel Misrepresentation
ConfirmRoute calculations represent statistical predictions and syndicated status reports. You must NEVER misrepresent ConfirmRoute outputs to third parties as 'guaranteed railway berths', official ticket reservations, or CRIS authorizations.
8. AI Misuse & Guardrails
You must not submit prompt injection attacks, attempt jailbreaks to bypass safety filters, or leverage our AI features to generate abusive, fraudulent, or harassing content.
9. Excessive Automation & High-Frequency Polling
You must not configure autonomous scripts or web crawlers to bombard railway endpoints with repetitive, unthrottled requests that degrade service quality for other travelers.
10. Intellectual Property Infringement
You must not use ConfirmRoute to distribute stolen software, pirate copyrighted assets, or infringe upon the trademarks and patents of third parties or ConfirmRoute.
11. Harmful, Threatening & Unlawful Content
You must not utilize ConfirmRoute to threaten, stalk, defame, or harass individuals, or coordinate illegal activities.
12. Anti-Circumvention
You must not bypass or defeat authentication controls, IP rate limits, quota enforcement firewalls, subscription gates, or security safeguards.
13. Reporting Suspected Abuse
If you discover security flaws, compromised keys, or system misuse, please report details promptly to our security team at [email protected].
14. Enforcement & Penalties
Violations of this Policy may result in immediate rate limit throttling, revocation of API keys, account termination, forfeiture of unused subscription credits, and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
15. Revisions to this Policy
We may update this Acceptable Use Policy periodically to address emerging threat vectors and operational requirements. The updated date will be noted at the top of this page.
