You can initiate self-service deletion directly from your Account Dashboard.
1. Self-Service Account Deletion
ConfirmRoute empowers all registered travelers and developers with complete control over their accounts and personal data. You can initiate permanent account deletion at any time directly through your dashboard:
Navigate to Account Settings → Security & Session tab → Click 'Delete Account' and confirm your password or authorization prompt.
2. Immediate Deactivation & MCP Key Revocation
Upon submitting a deletion request, the following actions occur immediately:
1. All active session tokens across all devices are permanently invalidated.
2. All personal MCP API keys (cr_live_****) are instantaneously revoked, immediately blocking any further programmatic tool calls from IDEs or agents.
3. Any active recurring subscriptions are canceled to prevent future billing charges.
3. Permanent Data Purge & Timeline
Within 30 days of your deletion request, all personal identifiers, email associations, authentication credentials, and user preferences are permanently purged from our active databases and backup systems.
4. Clearing Guest Browser History
If you used ConfirmRoute as an anonymous guest without creating an account, your chat conversations were stored exclusively in your own browser's localStorage. You can erase this data immediately by clicking the trash icon in the chat history sidebar or clearing your browser's site data for confirmroute.com.
5. Statutory Record Retention Exceptions
In accordance with Indian tax laws (Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017) and corporate record-keeping statutes, certain transactional metadata—such as tax invoices, GST credit notes, payment reference IDs, and statutory audit logs—must be retained for mandated statutory periods.
These records are strictly archived in offline audit vaults and are never used for marketing, analytics, or service delivery.
