1. About ConfirmRoute

ConfirmRoute is a software and technology platform designed to provide railway and travel information, journey assistance, AI-powered intelligence, and developer-facing software services.

Depending on the product and features available to you, ConfirmRoute may provide railway and train information, train running and delay status, seat and berth availability indications, PNR confirmation probabilities, timetables, coach and rake layout configurations, railway rules explanations, multi-leg break-journey discovery, and software/API/MCP access.

ConfirmRoute is strictly a technology and information platform. ConfirmRoute does NOT operate trains, control railway services, issue or cancel railway tickets, provide transportation, or guarantee availability of seats, berths, trains, routes, fares, schedules, or railway operations.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under applicable Indian law to purchase paid subscriptions or create an account.

If you use ConfirmRoute on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you possess the requisite authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

You agree to provide accurate, truthful, and complete information when registering an account, and to maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.

3. ConfirmRoute Traveler

ConfirmRoute Traveler is our consumer-facing subscription tier offering enhanced natural-language railway intelligence and decision support.

4. ConfirmRoute Developer & MCP

ConfirmRoute Developer is designed for software engineers, enterprises, and AI agent developers requiring programmatic access to our railway data engine.

Developer access is additionally governed by the dedicated ConfirmRoute Developer & API Terms, which form an integral part of these Terms for Developer users.

5. Accounts and Security

Certain features require creating an account authenticated via email or social providers. You are solely responsible for all activities conducted under your credentials.

You agree to maintain strong passwords, protect API credentials, immediately report suspected compromises to [email protected], and never share API keys or unauthorized access credentials with third parties.

6. Subscriptions, Taxes and Billing

Paid Services are billed on a recurring monthly subscription basis unless a one-time pass is explicitly purchased. Displayed prices are billed in Indian Rupees (₹).

Applicable taxes, including Goods & Services Tax (GST @ 18%) where legally applicable, may be charged in accordance with Indian tax statutes. Tax invoices and GST Credit Notes are issued in compliance with the CGST Act.

Payment processing is conducted securely via PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, RBI-authorized payment aggregators and scheduled banking partners. ConfirmRoute does not store or process raw credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or netbanking credentials.

7. Cancellation & Refund Rights

You may cancel your recurring subscription at any time directly through your Account Settings or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation stops subsequent recurring billing cycles.

Eligible first-time purchases qualify for our 7-Day (168 Hours) Usage-Based Money-Back Guarantee, subject to quota consumption and gateway merchant deduction fees. Full details are set forth in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

8. AI-Generated Information & Verification

ConfirmRoute utilizes artificial intelligence and natural-language models to parse inquiries and contextualize railway information. AI-generated outputs are probabilistic and provided strictly for planning and decision-support purposes.

AI responses may occasionally contain inaccuracies, misunderstand complex multi-leg queries, or reflect upstream transmission delays. You MUST independently verify all time-critical railway information (including train departures, platforms, delays, and chart statuses) against official Indian Railways channels.

9. Third-Party Data and Upstream Systems

ConfirmRoute retrieves public and syndicated railway telemetry from third-party networks, railway databases, and government data portals. Operational changes instituted by railway operators may occur without advance notice.

ConfirmRoute does not guarantee uninterrupted upstream availability or absolute real-time synchronization of third-party railway schedules.

10. No Ticketing or Transportation Guarantee

ConfirmRoute is an analytical assistant and NOT a ticketing agent, ticket seller, or travel booking portal. Displayed seat availability, RAC predictions, or confirmation percentages do NOT constitute a ticket booking, reservation, or guarantee of travel.

Berth availability and quota allotments are dynamic and may change instantaneously. All official ticket bookings must be executed on authorized IRCTC ticketing channels.

11. Acceptable Use & Anti-Abuse

You agree to use ConfirmRoute solely for lawful purposes. You must not circumvent rate limits, launch denial-of-service attacks, reverse engineer non-public endpoints, harvest customer data, or redistribute raw API responses in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy.

12. Intellectual Property Rights

The ConfirmRoute brand name, logos, software, UI design, database schemas, documentation, and algorithms are proprietary property owned by or licensed to ConfirmRoute. Using the Services grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license for personal or permitted developer use.

Third-party content, photographic attribution, factual railway data boundaries, nominative fair use, and our statutory notice-and-takedown procedures under the Information Technology Act, 2000 are set forth in our dedicated Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.

13. User Content & Telemetry

You retain all ownership rights in prompts or queries you submit. You grant ConfirmRoute the necessary operational license to process your queries for answering requests and maintaining security, governed by our Privacy Policy.

14. Service Availability & Modifications

We strive for high uptime and low latency, but do not warrant that Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to perform scheduled maintenance, apply security patches, and deprecate features with reasonable notice.

15. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you violate these Terms, abuse API quotas, engage in payment fraud, conduct security attacks, or if mandated by applicable legal or regulatory authorities.

16. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ConfirmRoute is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including fitness for a particular travel purpose.

17. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall ConfirmRoute, its directors, employees, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including missed trains, hotel cancellations, delay miscalculations, or travel interruptions resulting from reliance on AI responses.

18. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ConfirmRoute and its affiliates from any third-party claims, liabilities, damages, or costs arising out of your misuse of the Services, breach of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.

19. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is essential to us. Please review our comprehensive Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, process, and protect your information, including our zero prompt leakage guarantee.

20. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Subject to applicable consumer protection statutes, courts of competent jurisdiction in India shall have jurisdiction over any disputes arising hereunder.

21. Modifications to Terms

We may revise these Terms periodically to reflect product evolutions, regulatory adjustments, or new capabilities. The updated revision date will be prominently displayed. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
